Hi! I'm Pat, I have been scrapbooking for 10 years and I dabble in other crafts occasionally. While I enjoy making pages of my granddaughters, I do have a wonderful husband and sons to do layouts of too, but my passion is scrapbooking specialty books and cookbooks because I like sharing my ideas and recipes with others. I help my sister-in-law here at the store teach some of the classes, mostly Disney because we go there every chance we get. I have been working for SYL since they opened their doors three and a half years ago. It has been easy to be a loyal employee when working for Liz who is dedicated to this industry. Since I have been working here I have watched this industry grow with newer and exciting techniques, trend and product for you and I to use to make our wonderful creations; it is a never ending always exciting craft and I love it. I have met some creative and friendly customers while working here whom I have enjoyed helping and talking to. Helping with your project gives me great satisfaction upon seeing the beautiful accomplishment we had made together. Hi, I'm Rebecca! I've worked at SYL for 7 fun months now and really enjoy everything about scrapbooking. I started scrapbooking about 9 years ago right after my daughter was born. I was quickly addicted and still share that same enthusiasm today. Some of the things that I love about scrapbooking are: that you can create something that you can share and pass on that will last forever; that there are constantly inspiring new products available; there are always new techniques to try; and that the scrapbooking community is full of wonderfully talented people willing to share and create together. There is nothing like the hunt for that perfect paper or that special embellishment that makes your project pop. I especially like making cards, accordion albums, travel scrapbooks, and calendars, but to be honest I haven't met a project yet I didn't like yet. Hi! I'm Kristine and I have been working at SYL since the spring of 2007. I've pretty much been a crafty person all my life, but I really got into creative lettering and doodling in high school, which led me to my true passion, scrapbooking, during my senior year. I am currently a senior English major at San Diego State University and have aspirations to attend law school in the fall of 2009. But one thing is certain; I will never stop scrapbooking, or most importantly, never stop being OBSESSED with the product in itself. I remember the first time I walked into SYL. I was in awe. It was like every crafty dream of mine had come true! Being able to work there continues to be such a blessing in my life and I honestly love every minute of it! I'm in the store during the school year from August thru May - Bring your projects in I would love to see them!

Hello Scrapping Friends! I'm Angela and I'm pleased to meet you! I've been in the SYL family since October 2007. I used to drive by the store 4-5 days a week from my other job, and never knew it was there until the day I found a coupon and boy was I excited! I found the place and couldn't believe my eyes when I stepped inside! I just knew I had to work there! I've been scrapping since 2001 and cannot get enough of it, just ask the owners and other staff. Come in and I'm happy to help you with ideas. I myself do albums, cards, altering arts, recipe cards and many more things. I belong to a group and we do monthly swaps - I just love all the cute projects that I end up with! I've been married now for 37years; have 6 children (3 in the air force) and 4 beautiful grandbabies. I'm so lucky that I have all those many years of photos to scrap. I can't wait to meet you - maybe I can learn a few ideas from you as well. Oh and you have to know I'm also a photo nut, never without my camera. (Now there's a sign of a true scapper!)

Hi I'm Betty, I have been scrapbooking about 4 years, I'm most proud of the book I've completed for my Father's side of the family. At our family reunion everyone really enjoyed seeing all of our family. The best part - I was able to add many more pictures of my Grandfathers brother's families after the reunion. I have been working at the store since about October 2006 and love it, I learn so much from watching everyone else, what a treat to see all the pages the scrappers do there. I love quilting have made several for my family, Cross Stitching, and also decorating cakes, I've won several awards at Del Mar - and the ladies won't mind if you I help you with a cake tip or two; so just ask!. I'm a native San Diegan, have 2 children, 9 grandkids and 4 of the cutest Great Grandsons - and I love to show off their pictures!
