Club 52 is a unique and innovative approach to scrapbooking. Together we'll conquer new scrapbooking challenges and learn new techniques each and every month. This will not be a cookie cutter scrapbooking club! Your layouts will be unique to you and your own personal style. Each and every class starts with you picking your own papers for the class project, there’s not a better way to have a personal style! Don't have a style? We'll help you find one! Get and share inspiration with everyone in the class while stretching yourself creatively! This class is for all levels – from the beginner to the advance scrapbooker.
So why the name “Club 52” – well its not the average age of our students! It about learning 52 new techniques a year! A new skill a week and the end of the year you'll have at least if not more than 52 new techniques, hundreds of new ideas to work with and 22 new scrapping friends to crop with.
In 2007 our theme was YOU – to complete a legacy book of who you are – where generations to come will enjoy your life stories. We had such a great time creating pages like “generations of woman” to “all my best friends – from kindergarten to now” and challenging you with putting 20 photos on a page to slicing your photo and spreading it across 2 pages.
This year in 2008 – We’re mixing it up a bit trying out a new type of project every month. Everyone always needs cards, so one month we’re making cards, another month it’s a layout and then it’s on to turning a plain object into something wonderful! Sign up for another quarter and we start all over again creating, creating, and creating!
This is one club you won't want to miss! $70.00 for the quarter includes your class supplies PLUS the private Club 52 stash of all kinds of great embellishments, die cuts and more!
Besides our once a month meeting we has have set aside the last Sunday of every month for Club 52 to meet and work on projects together. Of course this optional and you can come and go as you like – but what a great time to get together with friends and spend the day catching up on projects or creating new ones!
And we hold a little Christmas potluck as a bonus class – food, fun and make-n-takes to end the year off right.
Your membership to class also includes 20% off your entire purchase twice a month--on class night and on the Club 52 Sunday crop.

Anita Carrasco - Growing up, Anita always wanted to be a teacher. She envied the paper, pencils, chalk and endless school supplies. Anita tells us that's where it all started, her LOVE of paper and supplies! She's been teaching here since we opened in 2005 and found her niche in Club 52! Showing people new techniques and watching how they incorporate the ideas into their work is what she likes most. And what's her philosophy of scrapbooking? Well, her background is actually in mental health and counseling. She jokes that she spent years trying to help people get to a place in their life where they unravel their mistakes, work through them and move on. But in scrapbooking nothing is wrong and anything can be fixed! Here we learn how to cover up mistakes, make it look pretty, forget about it and keep on going! Anita has two great 2 kids and a husband who loves her crafty ways. The best part - she's just like the rest of us - always striving to be more organized, she's an over extender, can't find her keys to save her life but don't worry she knows exactly where her bone folder is!
